Sean ‘Diddy Combs claims ‘violence’ was mutual in Cassie Ventura relationship

Attorneys for Sean “Diddy” Combs have admitted that he used violence against his ex, Cassie Ventura, but claimed that it was mutual.

During questioning from Judge Arun Subramanian on Friday, Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo the defense plans to “take the position there was mutual violence in their relationship,” including “hitting.”

“We are absolutely going to admit to domestic violence,” Agnifilo stated, adding, “But at what point does it become coercive?”

Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.

The music mogul has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial.

The prosecution claims that the rapper used his influence to coerce men and women into sexual acts during his infamous “freak-offs.”

His ex Cassie previously accused him of sexual assault, rape and physical violence and the case was settled. Later, a bombshell video was published by CNN which showed Diddy beating her.

Now, she’s reportedly set to testify in the trial, jury selection for which began on May 5.

Opening statements for the trial are expected to begin on May 12.

If convicted, Sean “Diddy” Combs could face 15 years to life in prison.
